Oh Gawd, it's up (linky)!

Ok, so it's more "repackaged" than new.... but heh.....

Basically the challenge is this:

• From this weekend a Hobby Challenge topic will go up, so those of you with a lot of prezzies should be looking at this on Saturday!
• You have until the 14th January to chop and change your challenge, after which the Hobby Challenge will be locked
• You get until the 31st March to complete your challenge
• You may nominate any number of models/scenery/etc from any game system by any company, including ones you've started working on
• If you complete your challenge, you get the new Hobby Challenge Medal*
• The next Hobby Challenge should run consecutively (ie begin nominations on 24th March, locked 14th April, ends 30th June), yes, you can obtain the medal more than once
• We do, of course, thoroughly encourage you to maintain blogs

Basically this is your challenge to get what you want out of the painting/modelling side of the hobby for the next 3 months. How hard you make your challenge is up to you (hopefully you will set yourselves worthy goals, but it's up to you to balance it against real life etc, by having the conditions loose, we hope to make this as inclusive as possible), the only "moderation" will be locking the challenge down and handing medals out at the end.

Last time I took on a challenge from this forum I got hit by a car... Not that I'm blaming the forum... Or am I? ^_^

umm challenge - in the painting section, hmm coincidence i think not...

I am most eager to peer closer in on details of this challenge.

Seriously though...Pox mentioned we should get to work for it....I am thorough and slow in the painting realm so I must see what this challenge is before I fully commit.

I imagine, M'lady, that it has something to do with posing and/or painting a miniature in Christmas theme... But this is purely guess work...

If it's a christmas conversion competition, whoever converts the marneus calgar on a throne into santa and his two bodyguards into elves wins, end of story

There was a reference to there being an Article competition in Bara's sig though a while ago. What's happened to that?

I do hope its a Christmas paint comp Won a comp yesterday where we had to transform a Gnoblar into a .. Goblin / Elf.... thingi, Santas small helpers.

GT ate my time, but there will be one eventually. Just entering the budgeting phase at work, so won't happen before Xmas.
